Eternal Fire have officially confirmed the acquisition of Danish rifler Alexander "br0" Bro from NRG, validating earlier reports from HLTV and TRCS Topluluk over the weekend.
The move sees br0 unite with Vladyslav "Kvem" Korol, who arrived as a free agent following his contract expiration with Passion UA. The pair replace Sergiy "DemQQ" Demchenko and Rigon "rigoN" Gashi in the Turkish organization's active roster.
br0's departure from NRG came after being relegated to the bench following the team's devastating Stage 1 elimination from the IEM Cologne Major. During his year-and-a-half stint with the North American squad, the Danish player maintained a solid 1.09 LAN rating and competed at three Major championships.
The revamped Eternal Fire lineup will make their competitive debut in European Pro League Series 8, having secured a direct invitation to the playoff stage of the tournament.
The updated roster features Samet "jottAAA" Köklü on loan from Aurora, Iulian "regali" Harjău, Gareth "MisteM" Ries, alongside newcomers Kvem and br0, with Yiğit "yT" Özden continuing in his coaching role. Ömer "imoRR" Karataş and Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk remain on the inactive roster.
