FaZe Clan has officially announced the acquisition of BIG Academy AWPer Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen on loan for the remainder of 2026. The move comes immediately after the organization placed Helvijs "broky" Saukants on the bench.
The Danish prospect, currently sitting at number 34 in the HLTV Prospects ranking, brings limited top-tier experience but has shown promise throughout his career. JBOEN previously competed with Danish lineups on Atlantic and Preasy, while also developing his skills within the academy systems of both Astralis and BIG.
French content creator Sebastien "KRL" Perez leaked the transfer just before FaZe's official announcement. According to KRL, Ryan "Neityu" Aubry—who recently filled in for the team—has also finalized his deal and will be rejoining the roster alongside the Danish newcomer.
The revamped FaZe lineup will make their debut at XSE Pro League in Shanghai, China, with competition beginning on July 1st. The roster now features David "frozen" Čerňanský, Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, and Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski as the core, with JBOEN on loan and Niclas "enkay J" Krumhorn continuing as coach.
