North American tournament organizer NSTLGA has announced the upcoming Season 2 of their competitive league. The tournament is part of a broader North American circuit that includes two minor cups, a league competition, and a LAN finals event.
The second season will offer a $10,000 prize pool once maximum registration is reached, with capacity for up to 64 participating teams. Competition is scheduled to begin in August and continue through mid-September.
Organizers have improved the tournament structure for Season 2. Stage Two will utilize a Swiss format instead of the previous GSL system, while the grand finals will be played as a best-of-five series.
Teams interested in competing must pay a $200 entry fee. Registration opens on July 10th and will operate on a first-come-first-served basis, so early signup is recommended for teams wanting to secure their spot in the competition.
